Description
I’ve been an eBay member for over 17 years with over 1700 100% positive feedback. This is a relatively new account for music and memorabilia only.
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.
RARE – EDWIN STARR – TIME / RUNNING BACK AND FORTH – TMG 725 A-1/B-1 1970 – VG
A good copy of this rare northern soul dance classic. Nice and glossy, but two short marks visible in natural light prevent an EX grading, although it plays EX. One is at the start of the A side and one at the end of B (see photos). Neither are “feelable” and I’ve played through them and couldn’t hear any loud pops or clicks. Apart from that, in a bright light there are sleeve marks and a few light hairlines – no more than to be expected and nothing deep. Seriously rare in any condition, on the day of listing I found just 7 copies of this original 1970 release for sale online.
A Side: Matrix: TMG 725 A-1
B Side: Matrix: TMG 725 B-1
Plays well with great sound. Each side has light background crackle during run-ins and in the background for the first 15-20 seconds. I didn’t feel it was strong enough to overpower the music.
Comes in vintage Tamla Motown company sleeve a little bit dog-eared and small writing on front, but good to have.
