Check my other auctions for lots of Mo-Fi and DCC LPs (by Steve Hoffman) this week. These DCC LPs are becoming more and more scarce, and they are superb examples of all-analogue tube mastering. Every one of them has their merits and just about all of them nearly equal or surpass any original incarnation of the recording. UNNUMBERED DJ COPY! Very rare! One of the very best offerings EVER from DCC is this masterpiece of a recording from Ray Charles and Betty Carter (DCC catalogue number LPZ-2005) on 180 gram LP. Originally on ABC Records, there is absolutely no comparison between the two issues. The DCC pressing sounds like master tape, the ABC sounds like a compromise. There was an earlier DCC edition too, on clear vinyl that seems to be somewhat collectible, but it can't hold a candle to this edition, and I'm not even sure it isn't from a digital master (this one, most assuredly IS NOT). This is an unnumbered copy, which means it was given to critics or DJ's, almost certainly from the beginning of the batch. Don't miss out on this one, you do not see them that often and you'll see less and less of them once folks realize what they've got and decide they'll never sell theirs. Shipping on this LP will be $4.50 for media mail to U.S. destinations, actual elsewhere. Rest assured that your LP will be shipped in an actual LP mailer, from Bags Unlimited, with inserts and the LP placed out of the sleeve to prevent seam splits (unless you specifically request for me NOT to do this, or in cases where there is a double inner sleeve, or the LP is sealed).

CLICK ON THE THUMBNAIL IMAGES TO SEE SCANS OR DIGITAL PHOTOS OF THE ACTUAL ITEM OFFERED. I DO NOT USE STOCK PHOTOS NOR BORROW PICTURES FROM COMPLETED AUCTIONS. I've been in the record selling business in one way or another since 1979. If you check my feedback, you'll see that my grading for LPs and other product has been a benefit to many satisfied customers over the years here on eBay. I have also worked in the high-end arena in many capacities for many years. It was while working as a sometimes writer and set up man for Harry Pearson at The Abso!ute Sound that HP's love of the classic recordings rubbed off on me and I subsequently went crazy and broke acquiring my own collection of Mercury, RCA, EMI and other classic labels. Along the way I added a lot of great jazz and collectible rock and roll. But I've had them long enough and someone else should be able to enjoy them now. Keep checking my items as I have more than 5,000 quality records to sell and am trying to list as many as I can per week. Please note that PayPal paid items are mailed out within seven days as I am not paid immediately by PayPal.
Mailing Information Back to Top LPs are mailed in proper LP mailers with cardboard inserts and the LP placed in a mylar sleeve. Other boxes are great for other things, but LPs need LP boxes for proper delivery to you. Non-sealed LPs are mailed with the record inside its sleeve placed outside of the LP jacket, in front or behind the jacket within the mylar sleeve. This method of shipping prevents seam splits on covers, and has never been known to damage an LP in any way whatsoever in a properly assembled package. I ship anywhere in the world. The cost of the mailer AND inserts is included in your shipping quote. CDs are shipped in bubble envelopes. Overseas or out of the US Air Mail will be actual plus the cost of the mailer, this is typically $13-16 for single LPs throughout most of the world, economy surface is available also, and will be quoted at the end of the auction in your winning bidder notice. Insurance is optional and dollar amount will be available at the close of the auction. You may combine LP purchases. Additional LP wins to US destinations are $1.50 for singles and $2.50 for box sets in addition to the original fee charged for the first win. The highest priced shipping item on your order takes precedence, meaning if you win a box set that costs me $10 to mail by itself, extra items are charged the above prices AFTER the $10 for the box set. Certain restrictions do apply, but the bulk of the LPs I sell will fall under this generalization. Overseas order with multiple items will be quoted at the end of auction depending on weight and destination.
