Description
This is a very rare album and has only shown up one time before on eBay to my knowledge. From Treviso and formed in 1970 most italian music fans only know Capsicum Red by name because their singer and guitarist Bruno "Red" Canzian had a very successful career with popband POOH. With the release of Appunti per un'idea fissa CAPSICUM RED veers toward progressive music, with strong classical influences. Side 1 contains the long Beethoven-derived Patetica suite, a very interesting piece of classical prog with keyboards to the fore. Side 2 has three shorter songs .The band came to its end in 1973, with Red Canzian joining POOH and Paolo Steffan forming country-inspired duo Genova & Steffan with an album release in 1975. I am the sole owner of this RARE CLASSIC ITALIAN ROCK ALBUM. The cover has normal wear for its age. One corner has a tiny tear approx. 1/8" long if that much in the right bottom corner. The record itself is in good shape with pressing surface noise, not uncommon for this label release (Bla---Bla - bbl 11051, made in Italy). There are some pops but is in good playing condition for a record of this age. I am selling this in as is condition which I feel is between very good and good.
