Already getting a hard to find record in its own right but never seen one with this label on it states DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR RESALE Southern Music Publishing Co Inc. I believe this makes this record extra special
I have very gently cleaned the vinyl with a light solution so not to damage my needle when testing.Have been collecting and buying since the mid 90s so know how to use care.
The record still have light marks and a few marks which I believe will come out with extra cleaning but will leave that to the new owner. Side one no scratches or scuffs but like I say still could do with cleaning. Side two a very small scruff/light scratch that does not effect play back at all not audible its so light. This record playing outstanding no background noise was so surpised how good this sounds
Record is a VG but sound quality is way better than that in my opinion Tested on my technics hi-fi. I believe after some cleaning might be VG+
Label side 1 has the demo side over the original mercury - side 2 has a mark where another small sticker was but long gone
Overall a very clean copy for over 60 years old and being a demo copy makes it that extra bit special
Has not got original mercury cover
I always edge on the side of caution with my rating rather say its slightly less than it is as condition is subjective Will be sent in 7" mailer and will also bubble wrap the mailer for double protection
