We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE...Original...1975 small local pressing by this hippie crew whose only album is highly rated by those in-the-know collectors including the ACID ARCHIVES bible....here's the scoup:

Wow, a surprisingly strong record. Not a masterpiece but, accessible as hell and varied. These hippie-folkies from Vermont certainly know how to mix a few contrasting genres into an entertaining listen. Side One practically demands your attention when 'Give the Fiddler a Dram' starts up. Folk music twisted with a bit of progressive - keys running all over the place, interlacing with the guitar strings and an excellent violin. The jumpy harmonies help too. 'Ontario' follows and it's one of the best songs on the album. A nostalgiac, simple riff with excellent lyrics which takes you through the life of an amateur dance-hall troubadour who misses his friends and his love. John Coster manages to marry the melancholy guitar lick with the words in such a way that it's steeped in a kind of cold, nomadic beauty. 'Here I am back in the borderland, just outside the Empire's wall, walking the streets on the dark side of morning, feeling a loneliness ten stories tall'.

Overall, a nice rural folk rock album by these Vermont hippies, very well conceived, performed and recorded.  It's an intriguing mix of styles, from British-type folk to a variety of old American music genres (not just folk, but blues).  The mix of all things evoke THE INSECT TRUST, and the laid back vocal style and violin sound a bit like Fraser & Debolt.  It probably won't appeal to strict psych fans, but it's a good album with the highlights being the two long, dreamy, almost eerie side-closers.  Mix of female and male vocals.  No full drum set, but there are quite a few instruments and cool arrangement ideas.   The album is about 48 minutes, yet interesting enough not to feel over long. 

So, excellent in places, intriguing in others, rarely tiresome and overall it's very good and certainly worth checking out. If you're looking for one of them 'lost classics' we music  collectors love searching for, you can't go wrong with this one.

CONDITION: The cover: VERY CLEAN...MINT...still in original factory shrink wrapper and has NO problems anywhere...4 sharp corners, no split seams, no bends and no writing...a beautiful copy only getting rarer by the day
