We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original '70s first pressing by these rowdy longhairs dealing a brew of catchy & cookin' hard rocker tunes led by the mighty BLACK BETTY...

The tracks represent a terrific selection of energized boogie rockers not unlike early ZZ Top meets the early Allman Brothers ... Ram Jam's self-titled debut contains mega-doses of ass-kicking blues rockin' boogie jammers with furious spells ... It is just about impossible to be of a certain age and not to have spent a great deal of time listening to 'Black Betty' in darkened rock clubs at full volume. This is a pretty decent album and is way more than just the one pulverizng track. Saying that, familiarity aside 'Black Betty' is still the best track on the album although 'Right On The Money' is not too far behind. 'Keep Your Hands On The Wheel' has a Rolling Stones feel about it and with the other rockers included it's an overall solid album. Elsewhere highlights include, the barnstormin' boys lay on the boogie stomp 'n' roll with "Let It All Out", the cowbell clunkin' "Right on the Money", the James Gang inspired "404", the Foghat influenced rockin' "All for the Love of Rock 'n' Roll", the Allman Brothers' stylin' "High Steppin'", and the cool cruise of "Overloaded". Even the T-Rex "Electric Warrior" styled 'Too Bad On Your Birthday' is an enjoyable way to spend three minutes. 

From seemingly out-of-nowhere, New York's Ram Jam debuted in the mid '70s with their self-titled ten song LP, and quickly rode the unexpected nation-wide success of the "Black Betty" single. We're not quite sure why these guys never got the recognition or success they deserved but if you like 'Black Betty', and we're pretty sure you must have heard it, it's a fairly safe bet you'll like the album too.

CONDITION: The cover: Solid all over near M- and would have been rated mint but for a small gold promo stamp on top right back cover that was ripped off by some paranoid ... otherwise with 4 sharp corners and great rich colors ... has no bends, no writing and split seams ... has also a promotional song timing strip on bottom of back cover that raises the value of the pre-release ...    

The vinyl: all solid MINT looks unplayed, that nice! Clean white promo labels too ...
