Description

The owner of TK records, Thor Lindsay, gave me this box set of four as soon as it was made. I had been involved in the production of this record from the idea's inception. I was the recording engineer for the M99 side, and the photographer for all of the covers and labels (except Nirvana and Hole, which used stock photos). I've taken a picture of the credits sheet included with this record so you can see my credit.
I never played this box set, Thor had also given me a colored plastic box set and a plain black label box set so no need to. I have just examined each disc and there are no spindle marks on any disc, in fact there isn't so much as a fingerprint on any disc. They are all perfect condition, unplayed and untouched.
Just for fun, I added an ebay photo of Poison Idea's cover, it shows Charley and Mondo wearing Wipers t-shirts I brought to this photo shoot. Charley is wearing the "This is Real" shirt, of which five were silkscreened by Thor when we shared the Kearney St. house together in 1979. I was the original Wipers sound engineer, and that year brought them to Bob Jeniker to make their first album. Thirteen years later, about the time this TK 45 record was made, I was living in Courtney Love's former duplex which she had passed on to me when she moved out. My girlfriend at the time was Kurt and Courtney's babysitter. Thor had been employed as crew chief at my company, Concert Sound, before he started TK records. Some of Nirvana's staff came from my company, notably Craig Overbay (later the Foo Fighters soundman).
I've also photograped the credit for recording the M99 track, which says "Tom's Instant Studio at Josh & Lesli's. Engineered by Tom Robinson." I provided the recording equipment for many of the early Wipers records, until they moved from Portland to Tempe. I did all their live sound engineering, and I engineered on some of the records as well. I did record the entire Wipers Live album on the January and February 1984 US tour.
The recent auction on Ebay of another copy of this record has a lot of information about the record itself which is unnecessary for me to repeat.
I will be happy to sign a statement attesting to the truth of all the statements I have made.
