PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! The most under-estimated album from ex ART members SPOOKY TOOTH. A continuing of the "You broke my heart" album, and contains some good progressive rockers, among those the smash hit "Sunlight of my mind".The album bristles with tight harmonies and solid rock. "Ocean Of Power" and "Things Change" show them off well... The old ghostly heavies brought back their original member Mike Kellie on drums) and they showcase enough to inherit Free's title of England's rawest, most underrated band. Witness presents more of the hauntingly melodic raunch that dominated You Broke My Heart So I Busted Your Jaw" , but extends it a bit via some nice chord changes and some really plaintive vocals by Mike Harrison. Gary Wright's songwriting issuperb, coming into its own, If you have the chance to get this album, it is full of rewarding somgs. Spooky is so good, it's scary...and that's the absolute tooth...argh. The songs within are much stronger than you're going to find on some of their other records. Understated? Oh heck yes. There are moments of bombastic BLOOZE electric guitar and the rest is low-key, minor-key, quietly moving keys and guitar-driven music. The tracks are very well written, and become more and more arrestingly infectious the more you hear them. On first listen, you might wonder where are these high points. On third or fourth listen, you'll realize that ALL the tracks are ALL high points: the somber "Ocean Of Power," the sweet-but-somber "Wings On My Heart," the darky blues rock "Don't Ever Stray Away," the bluesy dark rock "Sunlight Of My Mind," the cool running "Dream Me A Mountain," the somber "Things Change," the REALLY somber "Pyramids," the lightly semi-somber "As Long As The World Keeps Turning" and the ONE really poppy, upbeat, rock and roll song on an otherwise rainy chilly day LP "All Sewn Up." That's the nature of Witness's brilliance. It doesn't jump up at you and scream "genius."
