RARE 1963 Surfin' USA lp SIGNED BY ALL 5 in 1963 & 1964 The BEACH BOYS Autograph

Here is a FANTASTIC and historic autographed vintage album from my collection offered up for sale:  This is an original 1963 MONO pressing of The Beach Boys album "SURFIN' U.S.A.". Released 1963 by Capitol Records T-1890, this is a 1st pressing with heavy vinyl and black with color band labels. The rear cover tells a story of how some enterprising young girls sought and got the entire band to sign their albums. (I have a second one that is from the same owners and signed by two of the members who also signed this one). The girls wrote the dates that they saw the band and got the FIVE autographs. I can only assume the shows were here on the west coast. I found these (2 albums) in Berkeley California.  Written in pen by the original owners is: "Saw them Nov. 16th 1963" (this was only six days before president Kennedy was assassinated).A second notation reads: "Saw them Feb. 28 1964", plus there are numerous places where they wrote "They're Tough!"  and "They're Dolls!". In addition, the young ladies appeared to have gotten one of the Wilson boys to give their parents Murray Wilson's home address writing "They live at 106th Street Hawthorne Calif.".At this point the boys still lived at home!!!  At this early point in their career, the boys were probably new to actually signing autographs for fans so their signatures are mostly brief: Brian Wilson signed just over his photograph "Brian", Carl Wilson signed at the top of his photo "Carl". Mike Love signed his full name at the top of his photo "Mike Love". Dennis Wilson went big at the top center of the rear cover signing "Dennis". Al Jardine who had just joined after their first guitarist David Marks had left the band signed his full name "Al Jardine" in purple pen or marker. Al signed at the top of the rear cover as his photo is NOT on this album.  
You'll never see another one quite like this historic rock n' roll relic!!

The vinyl record is the VERY RARE first pressing which attributes the songwriting credits for "Surfin U.S.A". to Brian Wilson. These credits were VERY quickly changed to credit Chuck Berry just after Berry's attorneys contacted Capitol records due to an obvious lift of melody & words of Berry's "Sweet Little 16".  These 1st pressings with "Brian Wilson" credits are HARD TO FIND! The record rates VG, is super glossy and clean, has several light marks, only a couple small more moderate ones, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays very good from start to finish, bright clear sound with some light background pops, a couple moderate errant pops, no skips or jumps, an enjoyable listen! The labels show a lot of wear around the spindle hole for a much enjoyed 58 year old record. 

The cover rates VG+, is clean with minimal ring wear, edges and corners with minimal wear but NOT split, binder edge is readable with a teeny wear mark in center, the back cover has the signatures and notations from the original owner. The inner sleeve is original, clean and bright with center splits neatly taped. The album will be mailed inside a metal framed album picture frame with glass.  (see all photos)
