Several unique things about this item:
Firstly, the record retains the original shine, with up to some very light marks, grading by sight in normal room light . I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, and after a recent unpleasant experience with a buyer from Malaysia, let me suggest this auction is not for you. I don't claim this record is mint.
Secondly, I took the time to listen to this unique LP and found the four tracks to audibly average 1/2 of the way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Artist: Lee Morgan Title: Leeway Record: Black vinyl with the original shine and up to some very light marks, grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: Blue/white with blue/white print. The address on the label is: New York USA. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, some spindle marks. Trailing wax: Side 1: "RVG BN-LP-4034A-1". Side 2: "RVG BN-LP-4034B-1 GELDER" Inner sleeve: There is a Blue NOte sleeve with a 4" centered seam split on the bottom edge and some tattering along the top. Cover: Upper outer corner with a 1" seam split. Corners lightly to heavily worn, a few creased tips. Lower front left corner with a 4" crease. Upper front right corner with a 1" crease. Bottom front right corner with a 3" crease. Back left edge with a quarter-sized light spot. A small nick/scuff on the front upper cover, centered. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, no seam splits. Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent). Comments: . I found the four tracks to audibly average 1/2 of the way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint.

Side 1: Comments: These are the Soulful days Up to a very, very light surface noise with one light pop (3.7) The lion and the wolff Up to a very, very light surface noise (3.8) Side 2: Comments: MIdtown blues Up to a very, very light surface noise with some very light to light pops at the beginning of the track and towards the end of the track (3.1) Nakatini suite Up to a very, very light surface noise with some very light pops (3.4)

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship Lp's in 14"x14"x6" boxes padded in styrofoam. Weight with box is about 1 pound 9 oz. Shipping is: $2.82 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $2.00 box/tape/packing + $.80 delivery confirmation = $5.62.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, FREE. This includes delivery confirmation which enables you to track shipping of your package online. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra. Payment received within ten days of auction ending.
