This is a scarce ORIGINAL 1956 MONO MICROGROOVE FIRST PRESSING of a release by the great ART PEPPER AND FRIENDS called SURF RIDE. The album was issued as Savoy 12089. GOLDMINE'S JAZZ GUIDE VALUES IT AT $100. 12 cuts include NUTMEG, ART'S OREGANO, TICKLE TOE, CHILI PEPPER, BROWN GOLD, SURF RIDE, SUSIE THE POODLE, CINNAMON and STRAIGHT LIFE. Jacket has light ring and edge wear and a SAMPLE COPY stamp on the back cover. The VINYL is in EXCELLENT condition. Shipping to US by priority or media.
