Description
RAMONES s/t (Sire Records (SASD-7520), US, 1976) LP
Condition: sleeve in very good+ (vg+); cut out lower left, slight edgewear and vinyl in excellent condition; slight surface marks, plays great!
Original first pressing of the debut album by THE RAMONES. Quite scarce and hard-to-find. There was actually
a relatively small number of copies of this record produced in '76. There was never a second pressing using this catalog number.
Later pressings, often referred to as re-issues, are on Sire as SR-6020 and are distributed by Warner Bros. Records.
The first pressing is distributed by ABC Records. Additionally, the first pressings have two song titles misspelled/misprinted
on the label: "Blitzkreig Bop" (rather than 'Blitzkrieg') and "Beat IS on the Brat" rather than "Beat on the Brat".
These errors were corrected on later pressings.
This comes with a custom inner sleeve featuring song lyrics. This sleeve was never included on later versions.
Furthermore, there is a "STERLING" stamp in the dead wax, indicating a true first pressing.
