Description
Up for auction is a nice, original pressing of the Ramones album Rocket To Russia, originally released in the U.S. on Sire Records (SR 6042) in 1977:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT reissue or import -1A/1A first pressing etched in deadwax -Rare label variation with no rim text -NO UPC/bar code on cover -NOT record club pressing -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile inner sleeve -Does not include original illustrated inner sleeve
Condition: Cover is still very nice, with just light signs of wear. No ring wear, just some light rub top and bottom middle (see photos). Seams are nice, no splits or significant wear. Corners nice, not bumped. Back is clean, light rub here and there. Looks great! Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl is also nice, still retains its original shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, but under a bright light it shows some faint, superficial hairlines and signs of handling and having been taken out of inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Looks like this record was played a few times but handled with care. Still a nice copy. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)

I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
