Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWSOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is RAMASES--SPACE HYMNS--UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING POSTER SLEEVE,1971, stereo 6360 046 The 48th of 87 UK pressings on this label. THE REST WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....POSTER FORMAT and UN-LAMINATED. This sleeve is notorious for wear AND TEAR. It is in GREAT condition showing a small amount of general light wear. It is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING.This is an out standing copy of this sleeve. It is very flat and square with very minor creasing. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The edges are EX++ with just VERY light wear. The front is EX++ with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO STAINS, NO RING-WEAR  AND NO STAINING. The rear  is in the same wonderful condition.The opening edges  are in lovely condition with no tears and no feathering. The spine is FULLY legible and bright with mild to moderate creasing to the corners. The fold out poster is in FANTASTIC condition on both sides , with no evidence of ever being mounted to a wall. The only other sign of wear ( and it is  extremely minimal) is to the very tips of the corners. This album comes with AN ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING SWIRL INNER SLEEVE in fantastic condition . All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 35 years old sleeve.EX++

LABELS......This is a genuine first pressing.THIS IS PROBABLY THE RAREST ORIGINAL PRESSING VERTIGO OUT THERE, THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO EXIST!!! BUT HERE IT IS,... A UK PRESSED RAMASES WITH A "LARGE B-SIDE SWIRL"!!?? I HAVE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF ANOTHER ONE OF THESE, THIS IS SO VERY VERY RARE, AND MUST BE THE VERY FIRST PRESSING OF THIS ALBUM!!??  Both labels are in wonderful condition, beautifully white with just some very light spindle marks on both sides. EX++.

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. As for surface marks, when you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see one or two light surface marks. In normal daylight this album is PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are VERY LIGHT dust crackles but a professional clean should sort out most of that.This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX++/EX++

THIS ALBUM MUST BE SO VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. IT IS THE RAREST IN THIS 'SUPERB' CONDITION WITH THE LARGE B-SIDE SWIRL?DONT MISS THIS ONE AS YOU MAY NEVER GET ANOTHER CHANCE.
