"RAINTREE COUNTY" (1958) SIGNED BY COMPOSER GREEN   Looking at the gorgeous cover of this RCA VICTOR Soundtrack is a sad reminder that one of the very last Golden Era stars died this week. Elizabeth Taylor personified the real meaning of that highly overused word, at least in today's world.  Eva Marie Saint and Montgomery Clift, seen here with Elizabeth, were themselves quite worthy of the accolade.   The score to "RAINTREE COUNTY", an MGM epic film, was composed by JOHNNY GREEN, and contained two outstanding themes that became songs known as "The Song From Raintree County" and "Never 'Til Now". They were recorded by Nat King Cole, Joni James and Mario Lanza as pop singles.   This LP has the added bonus of being autographed by JOHN GREEN to it's previous owner, back in 1972.  ("All Best Wishes - John (Johnny) Green, 1972 ". (See picture section).   The RCA record number is LOC-1038. The vinyl is in ALMOST LIKE NEW condition.  The cover has some wear on the back seam, and a small crease at the top left corner. Otherwise, it looks fine.   SIDE 1:   PROLOGUE - NELL AND JOHNNY'S GRADUATION GIFTS - JOHNNY'S SEARCH FOR THE RAINTREE - FLASH PERKINS - JOHNNY AND SUSANNA'S FIRST MEETING - JULY PICNIC.   SIDE 2:   BURNED-OUT MANSION - SUSANNA'S OBSESSION - LAMENT FOR HENRIETTA - FLASH JOINS UP - LITTLE JEEMIE IS BORN - NELL RETURNS - SUSANNA'S TRAGIC DECISION - HER DEATH - NELL, JOHNNY AND JEEMIE TOGETHER.     SHIPPING COST: U.S.A.   - $9.00                                INTERNATIONAL -  $19.00 (AIR)                                REST OF CANADA VARIES BY REGION - TBA   PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:   DISREGARD ANY INFORMATION OUTSIDE THIS DESCRIPTION.
