Description

For auction is RAHSAAN ROLAND KIRK's "Natural Black Inventions: Root Strata," on Atlantic SD 1578, Stereo, 1971. Promo Edition.


SOUND: NM

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Almost perfect in every way! No reservations.


VINYL: NM

I've never used a "mint" grade, but this is the most temptation I've ever experienced! The vinyl is clean, brilliant and flawless, to my eye! Ditto for the white promo-edition labels.


JACKET: VG+/NM-

The jacket is great. The edges and spine are solid, straight and un-worn. Three corners have slight bumping. The laminate on the front cover is separated a tiny bit at each of 3 bumped corners, otherwise the front is brilliant. There is a promo sticker with suggested cuts. The back is very clean and unmarked, with only very minor, routine wear.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 


Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.  


If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
