Description
An original RIAA Gold Record Award for Radiohead's The Bends, presented to a senior executive of the group's record label, Capitol Records. We have blurred out the executive's name on the photos for their privacy, but it appears on the actual award.
The award is completely original and in near mint condition. When we acquired this from the original recipient, the plate with their name had begun to tilt a bit (the glue came loose) and so we carefully opened it up and re-glued the plate. There is no evidence of the repair, other than the original backing paper is having been very carefully slit on three sides and reattached. Two minor scuffs to the bottom corners, but otherwise mint. Guaranteed authentic with no time limits. 17 1/4" x 21 1/2".
