The band came together in Detroit during 2005 and recorded when time allowed for the remainder of the year. Due to the various members' success in other bands, they were quickly dubbed a supergroup. Members: Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Dead Weather), Brendan Benson (solo), Jack Lawrence (of The Greenhornes, Blanche and The Dead Weather), and Patrick Keeler (also of The Greenhornes). The pressing was limited to Vault Members only! copies and not for sale anywhere.
Live In London is the latest release from The Vault Premium Membership club, as well as the latest album from The Raconteurs. Having grabbed some live Raconteurs stuff from radio broadcasts and audience recordings I was pretty excited at the prospect of this particular release, since it represented something new from the band.
The overall sound is clean almost to the point of a studio recording with crowd between songs, but then again maybe it’s just that I have heard so many noisy audience show recordings of different bands that I am missing the crowd noise that can either place you ‘right there’ in the audience, or sometimes irritate you when it overpowers the music.

On each pressing Jack White etched a little saying and the pressing number in the blank space on the record
