Description

This boxset features 5CDs, 2LPs, a blu-ray, a hardcover book and memorabilia. The first CD is the album remastered and the second disc is the non-remastered version of the same original mix of the album. Additionally, you get a disc of largely previously unreleased tracks (including demos, live tracks and two ‘lost’ recordings), the Alpha Omega album Cat Stevens produced for his brother David Gordon in 1979 and eight tracks from the UNICEF Year Of The Child Concert at Wembley Arena in 1979. The 2 LP repeat CDs 1 and 5 (album remaster and UNICEF Year of the Child Concert) while the blu-ray features video footage from that same UNICEF concert and the Back to Earth album in hi-res stereo. It contents > 1. CD I BACK TO EARTH - The original album remastered at Abbey Road Studios 2. CD II RETURN TO EARTH - Rediscover the story with the original stereo mix 3. CD III UNEARTHED - Back To Earth live tracks, unheard demos and mixes and two beautiful ‘lost recordings 4. CD IV ALPHA OMEGA (A MUSIC REVELATION) - A selection of tracks taken from the 1979 record Alpha Omega produced by Yusuf Cat Stevens for his brother David Gordon 5. CD V & VINYL LP II YEAR OF THE CHILD CONCERT - The last love song. Yusuf Cat Stevens performs his final farewell with a selection of some of his best loved recordings at the UNICEF Year Of The Child charity concert at London’s Wembley Arena 22nd November 1979. 6. VINYL LP I BACK TO EARTH - 180g. The original ten track album remastered at Abbey Road Studios, includes original promo poster 7.
