Description
This is a FACTORY SEALED copy of Quicksilver Messenger Service, 1st LP, U.S. Pressing, Foil Cover. These albums are extremely difficult to locate in good condition if at all. I have had 2 of them in my in collection for the past 15 years and it is time to let one go. The LP is in excellent condition has been properly stored in a protective sleeve and has been rarely handled. The only time it has been removed from the protective sleeve is to take the pics for this listing. Here are a few particulars from a couple collectors more savy than me and a little research.
* The LP is still Factory Sealed. The shrink is in excellent condition. It does have a small separation about the size of 1/2 a dime at the left rear lower corner that looks like a pull from the shrink being taunt and aging. (pic. provided) All corners are square and quite crisp for a 40+ year old LP. LP cover color is excellent. Cover is flat, heavy and consistant with a U.S. pressing cover. Cover has the foil laminate face attributed to this album.
*Although sealed it is presumed that the LP pressing is on heavy, black, Columbia, inflexible, vinyl. The label is likely the black Columbia label with the color spectrum border but no "subsidiary of Columbia records" inscription.
* The album has the "Columbia Records" insignia on the front along with The ST2904 designation and the words "Stereo and Playable on Stereo & Mono Phonographs" on the foil. The reverse b/w word "Stereophonic" is on the cover rib.
* On the rear lower left corner of the cover are 2 "Zodiac" symbols.
This is an exceptional copy of a classic and hard to come by sealed LP. I will ship anywhere in the U.S. or Canada for $4.00 fixed USPS Priority Insured and prefer to sell only U.S. or Canada. Thank You
