Description
Very rare, Original 1983 U.S. pressing, EMI / Capitol Records. White label promo EP with "1" and "2" written on the label sides in felt tip marker (as issued).
Tracks: Queen of the Reich, Nightrider, Blinded, The Lady Wore Black
Film can has some imperfections (dents, scratches, blemishes, see pics) that were present when bought at a radio station charity auction (WDVE) in 1984. Vinyl in good shape from what I can tell and heavier/thicker than standard vinyl. This was originally used and played at the station using professional equipment back when they still spun vinyl and most of these very rare promo pieces were only sent to radio stations or zines.
The film can was brought backstage to a QR show at the Spectrum in Philadelphia in 1988 and the original sleeve was autographed by all members.
According to Collectorsfrenzy and other sites, these have sold recently for as much as $435 (8 months ago). Because of the condition of the film can, my reserve will be much lower but at any price, this is a must have for any QR fan or collector, especially with the original members autographs.
Like any collectible, the older these get, the harder they will be to find (if it isn't hard enough already) and the more valuable they will get. I've had this for over 30 years and wouldn't be selling if I didn't really need to so that's the only reason you're able to get it from me now.
