Classificazione della Qualità utilizzata:
Tutti gli oggetti sono classificati in base ad un esame visuale in accordo con la graduatoria utilizzata del giornale inglese "Record collector"
La copertina e le altre parti contenenti immagini sono classificate per prime, segue il disco e sono espresse nella forma (.../...).
Nel caso di album doppi si aggiunge di seguito la classificazione del secondo disco.

Definizioni :
SS = Still sealed - Nuovo di negozio, sigillato;
UNP = Unplayed - Mai usato;
M = Mint - il disco è in condizioni simili a nuovo con assenza totale di segni sulla superficie o scadimento della qualità del suono.
La copertina o ogni altra parte contenente immagini sono in perfette condizioni;
NM = Near mint - praticamente senza difetti, insignificante presenza di segni
EX = Excellent - Presenza di piccoli segni dovuti all'utilizzo ma con la qualità del suono intatta.
La copertina ha piccoli segni di usura o/e gualcitura.
VG = Very good - Si vede che il disco è stato suonato più volte ma il suono non ha subito deterioramenti, malgrado evidenti segni sulla superficie e occasionali piccoli difetti (scratch).

La copertina è normalmente conservata senza particolari segni salvo l'usura e piccoli difetti.
G = Good - Il disco è stato utilizzato talmente tante volte che la qualità di riproduzione è evidentemente deteriorata con alcune distorsioni e piccoli "scratches".

La copertina ha subito piegature, usura degli angoli, piccoli strappi e scoloriture;
F = Fair - Discreto, il disco può ancora essere sentito ma non è stato trattato con cura e mostra notevoli segni sulla superficie - può anche presentare salti di traccia. La copertina ed il contenuto sono strappati, macchiati e/o imbrattati.
P = Poor - Il disco non può suonare correttamente a causa dei disturbi, dei salti e dello stato della superficie.
La copertina e gli eventuali contenuti sono profondamente rovinati ed in parte mancanti.
B = Bad - Il disco non può assolutamente suonare, può essere anche rotto ed utilizzabile solo come alternativa per un collezionista.
 

Grading:
All items are graded visually according to the UK "Record Collector" magazine definitions NOT the US "Goldmine" variation.
The cover is graded first (if no cover = -/...), followed by the condition of the discs in sequence e.g a double lp may well be graded m/ex/nm = mint sleeve, excellent first lp, near mint second lp.
If a release contains a special item such as a booklet or limited poster that will be graded after the sleeve and before the discs.

Definitions (n.b. "record" is any recorded media)
ss = still sealed
unp = unplayed
m = mint - the record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover or any items such as lyric sheets, posters or booklets are in perfect condition.
nm =near mint - virtually flawless, miniscule amount of wear.
ex = excellent - the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
vg = very good - the record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occassional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptable.
g = good - the record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discloration etc.
f = fair - the record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump.

The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
p = poor - the record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.

The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
b = bad - the record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler.
