Description
Queen's music was among some of the greatest in rock history and this fantastic collection of most of their work is a treasure to behold and represents the genius of one of the finest rock supergroups on this planet. Queen had everything, showmanship and a terrific innovative style. The early death of Freddie Mercury left a gaping hole in the world of rock music. This box set is a great historical record of the work of this iconic band - all 14 albums, including Complete Vision, an album of material never pressed on vinyl before, plus The Works and Live killers. It is a limited pressing with the low number - 005564 and each of the albums are contained in a beautifully embossed white sleeve, numbered with Roman Numerals. It also contains a colour illustrated booklet which includes individual full page pictures of each band member and front cover pictures of all the albums contained in the box with full track listings and all the relevant detailed information. There is also a large wall chart poster of a map of the world, highlighting all the places where Queen toured and also charted during their career from 1971 to 1985 .....to accompany the map is a Queen Tour Itinerary listing every venue and date Queen ever played, standard details of all requirements for Queens dressing room and similar requirements for the crew. Also includes plans of stage layout and all music accessories and furniture required on stage. Such information is probably of interest only to the most dedicated of Queen fans and that's what makes this box set a must have for such fans.
The box is in excellent overall condition, apart from a little 'foxing' on the inside as can be seen in one of the pictures. The records too are in excellent condition, only a few have actually been played, however, record no. VIII has a tiny scratch on the very edge of the record, which does not affect the playing. I have shown a picture of this. A brilliant example of an item of Queen history. Please don't miss it. Copies of this are rare, especially in this condition and at such a low number. Please see pictures and email with any questions that you may have.
Postage - I would strongly advise anyone purchasing this item, to ask for a 'signed for' postal service, I'm afraid it will cost £12 GBP, but you will be insured. Also, when I actually post the item, if it costs less I will issue a refund of the difference.
