Queen 12 inch Vinyl LP - "Queen II" - First UK Pressing 1974 Wrong Matrix Numbers Stamped on Wax - Scored Out and Corrected Very Good Overall Condition
This is an original UK pressing of Queen's second album "Queen II" (Queen 2) issued in 1974.
I believe this is a rare example as the matrix numbers stamped into the wax were originally applied wrongly, then scored out and corrected.  I have tried to show this (with my limited photography skills!) in the pictures.  The specifics are - 

  • Side White - "YAX 4736 - 4U" (with the numbers crossed out and "4735" written below)
  • Side Black - "YAX 4735 - 4U" (with the numbers crossed out and "4736" written below)

From this, it appears the serial numbers were applied to the wrong side of the record before being corrected.   Please see pics. 
Sleeve is good with some ringwear  but no tears or rips.
Inner sleeve has  some what looks like   watercolour paint marks. Please see pics. Vinyl is very good with one visible mark but this does not affect playing .
