Description
Windsor Bear's Home for Abandoned Records
This is one of the rarest Archies items available; the quad 8-Track version of the "Everything's Archie" album, retitled as "Sugar, Sugar" and having the "super hard to find" sugar cube cover artwork on the label. It only took me 36 years to find this thing. So why am I selling it? Simple... I don't need the tape (I don't have an 8-track tape player). I only wanted it to make some good quality scans of the artwork on the label. I've got the scans, so I'm ready to pass this on to someone who can actually listen to it and enjoy the great Archies sound in quad.
The tape appears to be in great shape, however... like I said, I've never been able to play it as I don't have an 8-track player, much less a quad 8-track player. The shell is good and tight with no breaks. The tape is able to be moved in the case. The front label of the great artwork is nice and bright with no tears or marks. The back white label is starting to get that "weathered" look to it, but it is otherwise fine. The sleeve is long gone (was not included when I bought it), but I am including a generic "Columbia House" 8-track sleeve to protect the tape in shipment.
I'm starting the bidding at much lower than what I paid for the tape. There is no reserve, but I sure hope it gets close to what I paid for it.
Happy Holidays Everyone!

Red Tape: Buyer pays for shipping. PayPal, Money Orders and Personal Checks accepted for payment. See Shipping and Payment sections below.
Insurance: If the US Post Office loses or mangles your item in the mail, there's not too much I can do about it... unless you purchase the optional insurance that is usually available. Just use good judgement here. If you only paid a dollar for the item, then paying an extra $1.65 for insurance is not a wise thing to do. But if you paid 10, 20, 25 dollars or more for the item, then you may want to purchase the shipping insurance.
Additional Tirade About Money Orders (Please Read This): If you are going to pay with a money order, I prefer United States Postal Service Money Orders over any other brand, for the simple fact that I can cash them at any post office. I have found out that Western Union agents are NOT under any obligation to cash Western Union money orders. It is up to the receiver to find someone to cash them, or deposit them in a checking account. I find this highly inconvenient. I am not saying that I won't accept other brands of money orders, but I am saying that I would very much prefer the USPS brand. Thanks.
Relisting: Be advised that I will no longer relist any records on eBay if they do not sell the first time around. I generally list my records on eBay at below book value. I used to relist non-selling records at WAY BELOW book value, and then they would sell quickly. It became apparent that many buyers were waiting for me to do that, knowing that I would lower the price. Well... it doesn't happen anymore. If my records do not sell on eBay the first time around, they are then listed on my GEMM online record store; usually at near or FULL BOOK VALUE. Sorry.
Thanks for Looking, and Happy Bidding.
