QUILL    "QUILL"   COTILLION SD 9017   1969   GATEFOLD  SCARCE

A great underated Northeastern  rock band who basically came from the Boston area. The band played for a few years in the Ma., New York areas and gained a strong following. Led by brothers Don and Dan Cole, who handled most of the vocals, the band also included, in their 67-68 line up, one of the best unrecognized drummers of the era in Roger North, who eventually went on to play with a version of Holy Modal Rounders. Although they opened the Saturday morning set of the Woodstock Festival, the previous heavy rains caused a glitch and their set was unfortunately unusable for the movie. Seven longish original songs. Titles include "Thumbnail Screwdriver", "The Tube Excluding", "Yellow Butterfly" and " Shrieking Finally". A Great rock band, that will surely please any who have not yet experienced the music of Quill...

RECORD: VG++  High Gloss, no spindle wear, couple of smudges but Excellent

COVER: VG+(+)   Excellent condition except for a tiny notch on seam and small inner cover tear otherwise...No ring wear, writings, stains, stickers, seam splits, cut uts or other damage.
