1968/Cdn/Capitol ST 2904…….here’s a clean in the shrink original Canadian pressing with non foil cover. I believe this is an original Record Club issue. The cover is in strong Excellent to M- condition with only a couple of spots of slight edge wear on the opening edge, otherwise no splits, delete or other issues. Looks very sharp! The vinyl is in strong Excellent to M- condition with only a handful of super light inaudible hairlines from the inner sleeve on one side. The record plays clean with excellent fidelity. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. A Top copy! Please check my auctions for other psych lp's. Thanks for looking!

Quicksilver Messenger Service is the debut album of Quicksilver Messenger Service, released in 1968. This was Quicksilver Messenger Service's first album, although they had already produced two songs for the soundtrack of the 1968 movie Revolution. Noted for its instrumental passages (most notably in "Gold and Silver" and "The Fool"), this album displays the group's jam sound amidst lighter pop-oriented songs. Unlike contemporaries such as the Grateful Dead, Quicksilver's jams were highly planned as can be heard by comparing the studio versions of songs with those from bootleg live performances. There are three covers and three band compositions on the album, including the 12-minute closer "The Fool." "Pride of Man" was written by Hamilton Camp, "It's Been Too Long" by producer Nick Gravenites, and "Dino's Song" by founding member Dino Valenti who was at that time in prison due to marijuana-related offenses.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
