PLAYS WELL WITH NO STICKS OR SKIPS BUT THERE ARE THE ODD LIGHT CLICKS ON OCCASION.

Released in the shops on the 5th November 1974 on the EMI label, I have the pleasure of offering today this original rare UK white label earliest test pressing from October 1974 of this stunning third album from QUEEN with vocalist FREDDIE MERCURY which is titled "SHEER HEART ATTACK". The album was produced by the band alongside Roy Thomas Baker and was the album that launched Queen into the mainstream and globally with the singles KILLER QUEEN which reached no 2 in the UK charts & NOW I'M HERE.

The record Plays throughout Very Well but has obvious sounds of background noise with the odd Click and Pop here and there, (more notable between tracks and around the quieter parts). However there are no Jumps or sticks. The Record has been well handled but it still contains that glossy sheen, though there are several surface marks, light scratches (Nothing you can feel) and thumbnails to be seen. The vinyl plays up to and beyond its visual and sound grading with hardly anything of serious note to fault. A typical polished production from Queen. Only light surface sound and no tracking issues. This play-grade proved a real pleasure when playing this fast disappearing album, this being the Only example I have ever had. It will prove quite difficult to find a significantly better copy and merits a very strong recommendation. I would grade both sides as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ The vinyl is in very clean condition and plays through with stunning audio. These white labels play much better than the regular stock copies. Needless to say there is absolutely no sticks or skips etc.

These test pressings were pressed in a very small quantity usually between 5 - 10 copies for the artist and producer etc to assess the sound quality.

The album comes complete with its original first issue fully laminated single sleeve which has no Trident logo on the back. This is showing photography from the late Mick Rock. This is in very clean condition, with no splits stickers or unwanted writing etc.

This comes complete with its original and correct generic white Inner sleeve. The inner has Queen written in pen and underneath is Queen Sheer Heart Attack written in pen and the number 31 written in black Ink to the top right. at the bottom is printed Patent Nos. 1,125,555 1,325,071 1,072,844 and Made In Great Britain. I would grade this as very good.
