Queen : Queen Rocks 2LP
I recently purchased a stunning Queen collection among which were a selection of their 'modern' releases including a superb version of this very collectable double album.
The audio plays to a very high standard with only a minimal amount of brief static on 3/4 tracks and is not intrusive. The vinyls are visually very impressive and the gatefold is superb with barely any wear. The picture inners are also in pristine condition.
With international shipping (including Europe now) I will declare a lower amount so as to decrease/avoid any Customs' fees.

Visual grading
The vinyls are in great condition and still have a lovely glossy sheen. There are no marks or scratches and only a small number of faint sleeve removal hairlines. You always find them due to the coarse material of the inner sleeves but they are superficial only and have no affect on the audio. The labels are unmarked aside from a minimal amount of spindle wear.
Play grading
I have played S1 in its entirety and the clarity and power of the audio is superb. Only the first track 'We Will Rock You' has a very minimal amount of light static, it is hardly intrusive, and the remainder of the side is stunning with no interference at all.S2 again plays with stunning quality and there are no clicks or pops to be heard. There is just minimal static at the end of 'Hammer To Fall' and an even smaller amount on a couple of intros. This is not intrusive in any way and overall the sonic quality on this side can hardly be faulted.

'Tear It Up' on S3 has only minimal static at the start and then plays with stunning clarity and power for the remainder. The long intro on 'One Vision' is nigh on perfect and the rest does not disappoint either. The audio really is so strong here and plays with great definition. The remaining tracks on the side also impressive with audio that cannot be faulted. Both 'Sheer Heart Attack' and 'I'm In Love With My Car' are 'as new' and that is no exaggeration.
'Put Out The Fire' on S4 plays with stunning precision from the first note to the last with no sign of any interference. 'Headlong' is of the same quality and 'It's Late' then plays with superb quality - there is barely any static on the intro and the remainder of this classic plays to a fantastic standard with a clarity and power that cannot be beaten. Stunning! 'No-One But You' was of course written especially the album and I am pleased to report it plays with wonderful clarity throughout. There are no ticks, clicks or pops and no static either. It is a 'high end' version to end this fine album.
In summary this relatively rare and collectable album plays to a superb standard with barely any interference. There is only a little static on a handful of tracks but as stated this is kept to an absolute minimum. I am sure most sellers would not even mention it! The clarity, depth and power and power of the audio on all four sides is so impressive and for once there is no inner groove distortion either. A fine example overall.
The Gatefold & Picture Inners
The glossy cover is so close to perfect with no obvious wear at all. The top and bottom edges and wide spine are pristine with no shelf wear and the corners are also in superb shape with rubbing/creasing. Only the opening edge of the back cover has one minor 'crimp'. The front cover is unmarked and the back cover is also in lovely condition with only a small number of tiny faint indents. The inside of the gatefold is perfect and overall this is a stunning example of this cover. As can be seen it still has the transparent sticker on the top left of the front cover.e with only one miniscule 'speck' on the top edge of the back cover and a very minor amount of wear at the top of the wide spine. It really is in lovely condition lovely condition and the front and back cover are pristine as is the inside. Both opening edges are also untouched.
The picture inners are in perfect condition with no sign of any wear.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
The records have been cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
