Queen + Paul Rodgers : The Cosmos Rocks 1st Press 2LP

This double album plays to a superb standard with only minimal 'background' on three of the intros.  The clarity and power of the audio on every side is very strong and I suspect this record has never been played before.  Pressed on super heavyweight vinyl both records are very clean, apart from one small blemish on S2, and they have no spindle wear.

The glossy gatefold is in superb condition with barely any wear and the lyric inners are 'as new'.

Both vinyls are in great condition with a stunning glossy sheen.  S2 just has a small collection of faint scratch marks over one very small area but have very little affect on the audio I am pleased to say.  Apart from that there are no other marks, scratches or hairlines and I would not be surprised if this LP had never been played before.  There is no spindle wear and the run out grooves and labels are also in lovely condition.

Play grading  

This first pressing plays to a superb standard throughout.  I have play tested every track and the clarity and definition is very impressive indeed.  The opening track 'Cosmos Rockin' is 'as new' with no interference and the same applies to the other two tracks on S1.  'Small' on S2 has a small number of very light ticks on the intro but they are so quiet and totally non-intrusive in my opinion.  Still an Ex+ intro!  The remainder plays beautifully with no interference and 'Warboys' and 'We believe' also play with stunning Mint precision.

'Call Me' on S3 is so close to perfection.  It has just one light click but aside from that is 'as new' with outstanding clarity and depth.  The other tracks on the side play to a 'high end' standard, they could not play any better basically.  There is not even a single dust tick to be heard let alone anything more.  'Through The Night' on S4 has a handful of light ticks on the intro but again are so quiet and do not intrude on the music.  Thereafter it plays without fault and 'Say It's Not True' is a particular highlight, the audio is stunning.

The Gatefold

The glossy cover is in superb condition with barely any wear.  The edges and wide spine have no rubbing and only the bottom two corners have a minimal amount of wear, it is very minimal indeed!  The opening edges have only a couple of barely visible 'pinches' and are just a shade off being totally perfect.  The front cover is super clean with no marking and still has the original sticker and the back cover is almost as good with only a small number of very faint 'specks'.  Most sellers would not even mention them as they are so minor!  The inside of the gatefold is immaculate.  A fine example overall

They are in perfect condition with no side splits etc.  Mint in every way.

The Labels

They are in superb condition with no marking or writing and no spindle wear either.
