Description

Queen - Network Queen 7" single with fold out sleeve, this is the hugely rare single that was produced in 1986 to sell advertising space for a Queen concert on 25th Oct 1986 and was a joint venture between Channel 4 and Independent radio.

The vinyl has "A kind of magic" on the A side and "A dozen red roses for my darling" on the B side and is housed in a plain black sleeve with a "Manufacturers property NOT FOR SALE" Sticker on the sleeve.

The Outer sleeve folds out to make a stage with band members and audience and has information on the advertising rates etc.

There were reputably only 50 of these singles ever made, I can only find 5 that have sold on the internet in the past 10 or so years and they have commanded extremely high prices.

This is a truly rare record, with only 50 produced that makes it far rarer than the 200 blue Bohemian rhapsody singles that were made and certainly rarer than the top foreign queen collectables, with some that were probably lost and some in private ownership it is probably true to say that there are hardly anymore that are likely to come up for sale for a long time.

The condition is probably the best that you could possibly find, the vinyl and die cut sleeve with sticker are Mint, never played, like new. The fold out sleeve has just minor storage wear, nothing too speak of and grades EX+.

This would make a solid investment for anybody who buys it (Think what it may be worth in 20 years), and to be honest I am only selling it as I have just come back from my holiday and could do with the money.
