USSR 1950s-1970s roentgen film flexible records

were released 2-3 copies (often only one!) by somebody's order only! 

Therefore  they are extremely rare and collectible!

 Records like this were popular underground source for songs of prohibited but extremely popular performers. 

 foreign jazz, underground criminal ethnic songs and rock'n'roll was prohibited in the Soviet Union by communist government.




To release this kind of records was moneymaking but very dangerous business, people got prisoned

 for manufacturing them!!!


Please note:

 All USSR x-ray records have the low sound quality. 

They may skip on different turntables. They are NOT records for high sound lovers. 

They are Items for collectors of different and rare editions only. All of them are very hard to find!


The record must be played on 78 RPM. Do not use vintage steel needle, use modern  stylus. Also it is very important to set the tonearm weight correctly, x-ray records need much more tonearm weight.
