Live at Wembley '86
On offer here is the rare double vinyl version of this LP and is the best I have heard in a long time. Now highly collectible this would be a great addition to any collection.
Visual grading
I would say the second vinyl has been hardly played as there is no spindle wear and no hairlines to be seen under a bright light. The first one has been played as there is some spindle wear on Side One and some faint hairlines and a couple of radial lines. S2,3 & 4 are beautifully clean and have that glossy look of new vinyl.
Play grading
For some reason Side One has a little jump just before 'One Vision' begins. From then on it plays with great depth and only a hint of static here and there. There is very little interference. 'Who Wants To Live Forever' on S2 does play with some static for the first couple of minutes but is not particularly intrusive. The remainder of the side plays with exceptional quality, a stunning listen.
'Love Of My Life' on S3 has a little static but overall plays with very clear audio. The rest of the side has hardly any interference and plays very loudly through my speakers! It plays with real quality audio. S4 begins in the same way with some static but soon dissipates to then play with stunning audio. The clarity and depth is paramount on this side.
For an LP approaching 25 years old the audio is of a very high standard and only has some faint intermittent static. For such a rare LP any die-hard fan would be very happy to own this.
Gatefold cover
The cover is one of the best I have seen in a long time. It is exceptional condition and only has absolute minimal wear on the corners. The edges and wide spine are supremely clean as are the opening edges. There are just a couple of small creases and a small sticker mark top right.
Picture sleeves
The glossy inner sleeves are in great condition, near perfect in fact. One of them does have an infinitesimal amount of rubbing at the bottom.
Labels
The labels are in excellent condition with minimal spindle wear on the first vinyl, none on the second.
