Description
Queen I (Czech reissue)
On offer here is Queen I pressed on stunning grey/white vinyl together with a marbled effect. It was originally manufactured in 1992 in what was then Czechoslovakia and licensed from EMI Records by Globus International, a record company that sadly no longer exists. This is a more modern reissue of that release and is pressed on heavy vinyl.
Visual grading
Visually the vinyl is absolutely stunning and was quite possibly unplayed prior to my play testing. Under a bright light I cannot see any hairlines or scratches and is quite honestly in superlative condition.
Play grading
The audio is extremely powerful and plays with barely any interference. For example the piano intro to 'Doing All Right' plays with no static whatsoever and in fact the whole track plays fantastically well. The audio across both sides plays with such depth and strength of sound it has to be one of best unofficial releases I have heard. With almost no background noise (just one pop on 'The Night Comes Down Down') the audio is breathtaking. Even 'Jesus' plays with less distortion than the standard vinyl version. Relatively rare today this record would not disappoint any fan.
Cover
The glossy cover is in superb condition with only a tiny amount of creasing towards the bottom of the opening edge. The edges and spine are like new and the cover is practically of Mint quality.
