Queen : Greatest Hits III A1 / B2 / A1 / B1 1st Press 1999 Limited Edition No 04503 2 x LP
This limited edition first pressing plays with incredible audio with only one intrusion - that is one click on '...Days Of Our Lives' on S4. Aside from that the clarity and depth of the audio is superb, I genuinely love the production on this album. A couple of final tracks have a minimal amount of inner groove distortion but overall the audio across all four sides is stunning.
The same applies to the cover, I have never seen a cleaner one. The outer pvc sleeve is n fantastic condition and rarely has no side splits or corner damage - in actual fact that is very rare! The printed inners are in great shape with no side splits. A superb double album all round.

Visual description
The vinyls are in lovely condition with an immaculate glossy sheen. The first one in particular is stunning with no marking and only a couple of ultra faint hairlines. The second one is almost on the same level but does have one tiny 'speck' or a needle drop I'm honestly not sure. In a way I'd be surprised if it was the latter because I don't think the records have ever been played, the audio certainly suggests that. The labels are indeed perfect with no marking or spindle wear.
Play Grading
As this is a double LP I will not describe each track in detail but I will still of course play the album in full so as to provide a 'complete' grading and I will point out any issues if there any! S1 has a couple of ticks / clicks on the run in but that is before 'The Show Must Go On' begins. This classic then plays with stunning precision and 'Under Pressure (Rah mix)' is just as impressive. I have to say how well 'Barcelona' plays because there are a number of quiet sections. It plays superbly with zero background, not even a dust tick. 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' is just as clean but does have a little inner groove distortion as is common for any final track. The first three tracks are Mint and the last one Near Mint
The classic George Michael version of 'Somebody To Love' could not play any better. The clarity, depth and power of the audio is sensational and Mint is easily deserved. 'You Don't Fool Me' and 'Heaven For Everyone' play to the same high end standard and 'Las Palabras De Amor' ends S2 with no intrusion. No distortion and a very clean sound. All tracks grade as Mint here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Driven By You' has a light static sound for about 4/5 revolutions and it then plays with impeccable clarity and power. A Near Mint version. 'Living On My Own' plays to perfection and 'Let Me Live' is equal to that. Not one dust tick, literally nothing to detract from the Mint audio. 'The Great Pretender' has no intrusion either, another Mint track. 'Princes Of The Universe' is loud and powerful with only minimal inner groove distortion.
This version of 'Another One Bites The Dust' has a depth of sound that is off the scale! No interference either. 'No-One But You' is 'as new' from start to finish - an emotive classic. Another classic in 'These Are the Days Of Our Lives' and is close to perfect but does have one obvious click on the Rollercoaster ride line. The final track 'Thank God It's Christmas' ends the album with imperious quality i.e. no background just pure Mint audio.
The Cover, Picture PVC Sleeve & Printed Inners
The cover is stunning and I cannot detect any wear. It is quite a snug fit inside the pvc sleeve so I will not remove it completely in order for both to remain as they were. The edges, spine and corners are in superb condition and the opening edge is pristine. The front and back cover also look 'as new', I really cannot fault it.
The pvc sleeve is renown for having split edges but because this one has been preserved so well there is no damage at all. It has to be the best one I have ever seen. The printed inners are near perfect - the first one has only a minor amount of ringwear and the second has just one very small rub on the top edge.

Postage & Packaging
I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping. This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage. The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered. Any over-payment will always be refunded.
The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing. Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Many thanks.
All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
