All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
This record is in excellent condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres show minor wear but are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing nasty showing but there are some light lines and faint marks showing in normal light. None of these are serious but they can be seen when angled into normal light and are therefore a clear sign of use. There are a few more thin light wispy lines or faint sleeve marks visible under bright light but not a drastic amount and again nothing serious. So overall this used vintage record is in good condition, has a lovely lustre but does show some signs of use.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded great throughout, with excellent clarity and little to no surface noise or interference. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is very clear with little to no surface noise or interference audible in the audio and only a trace in the run in and between some songs. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips or sticks. There was also no major issues with clicks but there was 4 or 5 light noises/clicks in track 2 on side 2. These are very light but can just about be heard due to the mellow nature of the audio in which they occur. Overall despite these few light noises however the audio was really enjoyable and very clear for the vast majority. In my opinion the audio is much closer to an audio grade of EX+, with just the few faint noises mentioned as a small drawback.
The embossed gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. It has some damage or wear to the bottom half of the spine(pics) which is its main issue. Despite this wear/damage/nibbling the spine it still strong and all the text along it is legible. There is also a much smaller area of similar wear to the rear top edge. Other than these areas there is some light edge wear but nothing extreme and overall the whole sleeve is still strong. There are no splits, tears or scuffs on the sleeve but there is some blue smudges/pen marks on the front near to the centre of the bottom edge. There is also age related discolouring/grubbiness or staining to both sides which gives the sleeve a slightly tatty appearance. Overall it is solid enough however but with the spine damage, blue smudges and discolouring as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It includes its original picture inner which is in excellent+ condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks and only minor creasing and slight ring marks. I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no damage occurs to the original during transit.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
