Description

On offer here is a wonderful A2/B2 first press of A Kind of Magic.  It is actually rare to find an A2/B2 press today and especially in this condition.  I have listened to the LP in its entirety and the playback is stunning.  The vinyl has been very well looked after and there are no hairlines at all.  Under a bright light the vinyl is visually stunning.  Most definitely one of the best I have seen and heard.  

There is only the slightest hint of static but it is only very intermittent and it does not affect the listening enjoyment whatsoever.  It would still be extremely difficult to find a better first press than this.  There is slight static at the beginning of 'Who Wants To Live Forever' but hey the LP is nearly 30 years old!  It plays with wonderful clarity and has no doubt been hardly played.  A stunning first press and a great addition to any quality collection.  

The gatefold cover has also been extremely well looked after.  With absolute minimal shelf wear this cover looks almost like new.  It is difficult to pick any fault. Perhaps just a few small creases on the top edge but I'm being picky!  The edges and corners are in great condition and it retains a superb strong wide spine.  The inside and reverse of the gatefold are also in perfect shape.  Overall a stunning first press.

The lyric inner is in great condition and is as new.

Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system.
