Description
UK 1967 Eyemark release (EMS 1008) of 'Q.P.R.-The Greatest'/'Supporters-Support Us' by Mark Lazarus with the Q.P.R. The A side is a conventional football song (awful), but the B side (credited to "The QPR Supporters") is a totally unexpected psych freakout building repeatedly to a dissonant climax built on delay and general 60's madness, all built on a football chant rhythm. Great stuff. This was included on the rare psych compilation CD "We Can Fly" and is suspected to be the group 'July' who also recorded on the Eyemark label. Check the soundclip! This is a must for anyone who is a fan of UK Psych singles and Queens Park Rangers. There must be a few of you out there...Record is in excellent condition, in a plain brown card sleeve. Check the soundclip for a better idea of the record's condition.
