Description
Released by Pye in 1968, cat # 7N.17653; this is “Riding A Wave” / “Trot” by Turnstyle.
This is a seriously-rare psych 45. One of the crown jewels of sixties British psychedelic music. I think this is the first copy to turn up on eBay for a very, very long time – oh and this is a stock copy too!
Both labels are clean and there are NO spindle marks on either label.
There is a tiny surface mark near the leading edge of the A-side that does not affect play. I’ve played it through a couple of time – well I had to be sure – and there is no sound distortion from this very small mark. The B-side vinyl is unmarked. Visually, the record grades as excellent, but plays without fault.
The record comes in a blue Pye sleeve.
All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance will be required if the value of the order exceeds £34. If you refuse insurance and the record is damage or goes missing in the post, I’m afraid we cannot be held responsible and will not entertain any claims. UK record delivery is an extra 70p and special delivery is £4.75. Overseas insurance will be either £3.50 or £5.50 dependent upon the value.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
