Cover: Near MINT - There are a couple of very tiny crease lines near to the cover spine. They are hardly noticeable, but I know this matters to absolute perfectionists. This is a fragile cover but I have kept it in superb condition because I put it in a sturdy PVC sleeve just after I bought it. I bought the record from Jays Records in Cambridge around 1996/97.
Inserts - Alternative Covers: MINT
Inner sleeve - Near MINT
Vinyl - plays EXCELLENT - no jumps - just minor surface noise as expected from vinyl - looks EXCELLENT in room lighting but appears VERY GOOD in sunlight. The vinyl has a number of surface marks, which are apparent under close scrutiny. These do not affect the way the record plays, but I do know that this was an issue with this vinyl, as I had a couple of friends who said that the vinyl gained these small marks on simply removing the vinyl from the sleeve. The vinyl also, unusually, has an iridescent look under strong light!
All in all, this is a superb record and a must for collectors of Pulp. I believe I have been hypercritical of the condition of this record as it really does look fantastic overall.
