Psychedelic Moods, The Deep, Cameo-Parkway SP 7051, 1966. STEREO. I usually don't offer records in this grade, but sometimes when something is as utterly rare as this piece is and still plays passably well, i'll make an exception. I'll take you through the good and the bad: First, the bad. The visual grade on both sides of the vinyl I would have to say is somewhere between fair and poor. There are vinyl scuffs, paper scuffs, and handling marks in abundance. The cover is also Fair as well. There are small tears in the cover slick 4 inches down from the upper left hand corner and 1 1/2 inches up from the bottom right hand corner. The back cover is faded and covered with (colorful) writing from from a former owner. There is also some tape repair along the lower edge. Now, the good: The record plays much better than the visual grade would lead you to believe, yes there are pops and clicks on both sides and between tracks and the two quieter selections, "When Rain is Black" and "Shadows On The Wall" do have some clicking, but both sides play straight through without distortion or skipping. Now considering that NM and M- copies of this recording are currently trading for upwards of 500 dollars+, if you don't mind a few pops and clicks and don't want to spend that kind of money for this rarity, this copy is a relative bargain.
