Description

First Pressing original Beatles Butcher Cover Yesterday And Today released in the US on 06/20/1966 Rare Great/Excellent Condition

This has been in this metal frame with glass for many years to preserve the condition. I have recently out it in a new brand new frame with plexiglass for safer shipping.

There is a hole punched or drilled in the upper right corner. Back then they did this to promo copies to radio stations and reviewers to prevent them from being sold as new.

I’ve been watching these auctions for a while and condition wise this one really is in seriously better condition than any I’ve seen.

The actual disk is thick and heavy and so mint it looks like it’s never been played. The original paper sleeve is in excellent shape too. You won’t be disappointed in the condition of the disk.

Includes the (correct) Capitol inner sleeve which has the matching promo drill hole in the upper-right corner but is otherwise in mint condition with no folds, tears or split seams. The correct sleeve for this first pressing is orange and has advertisements for “Help” and “Rubber Soul.” (“Revolver” had not come out yet).

As for the condition of the cover the photos speak for them selves. On the front there is a dot that looks like it may have been a coffee stain and right there is where you can see Ringo’s black V-neck and barely see the outline his head and face above that.

Feel free to ask any questions. I’m a novice collector and not a professional seller or dealer. I don’t know what VG+ is but I think this would get the highest rating for a first pressing Beatles record that is 55 years old.
