Yes, there are the usual and very useful tests on this record, of channel balance, high frequency tracking, low frequency tracking, etc., etc. What also is here, however, are great tests involving music.

PERCUSSION PARTY LINE features tympani, drums, bells, organ, and the like. GUITAR UNDERGROUND gives us seven guitars playing, while TWENTY-ONE TROMBONES delivers a certain kind of sonic power from such instruments.
