Product/Provenance
Raspberry Beret was the first single to be released from Prince's eighth album Around The World In A Day, the second album to be credited to Prince and the Revolution. It was Prince's first single on his own Paisley Park Records label.
The single was released four weeks after the album's release. The single included a non-album track b-side, She's Always In My Hair as well as extended versions ("New Mix") of both Raspberry Beret and She's Always In My Hair.
The single reached number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and number 3 on the Billboard Hot Black Singles Chart, marking the album's most successful single.
Raspberry Beret is often referred to as one of the greatest pop songs of the 80’s.

Record - Mint - lovely even gloss across both sides, unplayed. Beautiful vinyl!
