Description
Here for sale is a superb copy of Prince Jazzbo’s marvellous LP Natty Passing Thru’. Released in 1976 on the Black Wax label, and produced at Black Arts Studio by Lee Perry, this album features a reggae superstar line-up of musicians, including bass supplied by Boris Gardener, guitars by Earl ‘China’ Smith, and plenty of percussion from Scratch himself.
Rare for sale in any condition, this disc comes from the collection of singer/author Julian Cope, who has owned it for decades and kept it always in a thick clear 12” polythene cover – this is the nicest copy you’ll ever be likely to see or hear! Please look at the photos to see how clean and crisp the cover remains – whoever sees a spine that clean on a Prince Jazzbo disc? Yes, there is some occasional noise between tracks, but that’s about the worst it gets. Although the vinyl shows visual evidence of tiny marks, it has been played through and nothing major shows up through the speakers. However, any problems have been itemised below – all tracks are clean unless noted.
Side One
1. Dreadlocks Corner one click
2. Story Come To Bump
3. Natty Pass Thru’ Rome clean with a click on the tailout
4. Hold My Hand
5. Prophet Live
Side Two
1. Ital Corner some minor clicks
2. Bloody Dunza
3. Weepin’ And Wailin’ three small clicks in one section
4. Live Good Today
5. Life Is Gonna Easy
