Description

This is a British issue L.P. on the renowned "Blue Beat" label: "It's Burke's Law/Jamaica Ska Explosion" (BB LP 806, 1965). The vinyl is in a genuine VG+ condition, is shiny and clean, with only half a dozen or so light scratches/marks over the two sides stopping it being EX. There are no clicks or real surface noise anywhere on the record (including between tracks!). The labels are clean, without tears or writing, and the disc is flat (with no 'dishing' or warps). It comes in a clean white inner sleeve of the period. The sleeve is in a VG- condition. It is the 'explosion' design sleeve, but is in the typical '60s laminated front cover style. According to the Record Collector's price guide, this is supposed not to exist! But here is just such a sleeve, guaranteed original and untampered with. There are various creases/stresses/ front cover storage 'ring' in the laminate, but no peeling anywhere. There are a couple of tiny tears at the sleeve opening on each side (one has been expertly repaired at the front), but it has never been 'trimmed' to hide such things. The sleeve back is yellowed with age, has a 3" stain running from the bottom tab up the opening. It also has a number imprint (560) to the top right, probably once done in pencil years ago. Having said all this for the sake of honesty/accuracy, so you're in no doubt what you're bidding on: Blue Beat L.P.s don't turn up very often, and when they do, they're usually 'well-used' to say the least! My gradings are *strict*: If you win this, you'll have a fine, usable addition to your collection. Feel free to ask questions if you need to - Good Luck!
