You are bidding on a great Original copy of the Ronettes "Presenting the Fabulous Ronettes Featuring Veronica" on the Phillies Record label, 1963, PHLP-4006 on Front LP Cover & LP-4006 on Each Side Of Record. This album is my last original copy from My PRIVATE collection.
This LP is their first and one of their best. This was producer Phil Spector's famous "Wall of Sound" which was a really rich and BIG sound.
Songs include: Walking In The Rain, Do I Love You, So Young, Breakin’ Up,
I Wonder, What’d I Say, Be My Baby, You Baby, Baby I Love You, How Does It Feel?, When I Saw You, and Chapel Of Love.
The record features session aces: Barney Kessel, Carol Kaye, Tommie Tedesco, Sonny Bono and Leon Russell
The Ronettes were a girl group of the 1960s from New York City, best known for their work with producer Phil Spector. They consisted of lead singer Veronica Bennett (a.k.a. Ronnie Spector), her sister Estelle Bennett, and their cousin Nedra Talley. Their most famous songs include "Be My Baby", "Baby I Love You", and "Walking in the Rain."
"Be My Baby" was a 1963 single written by Phil Spector, Jeff Barry, and Ellie Greenwich, performed by the Ronettes and produced by Spector. The drums were played by Hal Blaine.
“Be My Baby” is probably one of the best-known and most enduring songs of its era, and arguably one of the most influential pop songs of all time: According to Rolling Stone magazine, "Be My Baby" is the 22nd greatest song of all time.
