Description

Rare 1959 LP pressing -- Dion and the Belmonts - Presenting Dion and the Belmonts -- 1959 Laurie Records USA -- LLP 2002 (mono).  Although the label and cover list the number as LLP 2002, the label looks to be an original Laurie pressing (gold label -- see photo), as well as the jacket/cover -- with the word "Mastersound" under the Laurie name in the upper right-hand corner.  Regardless, this is the debut album from Dion and the Belmonts, featuring "I Wonder Why" and "A Teenager in Love."  Please ask if you require a complete track listing.  Vinyl is a strong VG++   ...very close to near mint, with only a couple of sleeve scuffs and plating press marks from the manufacturing process, none of which affect play (no scratches at all -- sounds superb!).  Jacket/cover is VG+   ...light ring wear, moderate edge and corner wear   ...a couple of light marks (no writing).  Includes custom Laurie inner sleeve with later Dion/Dion and the Belmont album releases pictured.  Contained in a protective poly outer sleeve.  Stored in a non-smoking environment.  Low opening bid.  See my other auctions for vintage LPs, most in excellent (or better) condition.  I can combine multiple items to help save you money on shipping.  Serious bidders only, please.  Thank you.  Shipping and careful packaging, including delivery confirmation will be $4.00 to anyone in the continental USA.  International bidders are welcome.  If you are outside the USA please ask for a shipping quote.  I prefer payments via PayPal.  Please see my feedback so that you can bid with confidence.  I want you to be happy with your purchase!
