Notes: Original pressing, beautiful condition.  I bought this from an obscure record store outside Detroit, MI about 6 years ago, and it was un-played store stock.  It's been sitting in a paper sleeve with a mylar outer sleeve ever since I purchased it.  I just auditioned it on my Technics SL-1200 MKII with a Shure VST III cartridge, and it sounds amazing.  The dead wax is etched NR4795-AX (A-side) and NR4795-BX (B-side) with the initials RS on both sides, handwritten.  Jesus Rhapsody was compiled on the Numero Group release 010 'Good God! A Gospel Funk Hymnal'.  Both sides are killer funk, with great guitar, bass, and vocals.  Jesus Rhapsody has a wonderful open drum break.  This record is as close to Near Mint condition as you are likely to find, with nice glossy wax, and clean labels.

Grading Scale: Near Mint (NM)… A perfect record with clean gloss and no marks. Beautiful in every way. Very few records will ever make this grade. Near Mint- (NM-)…Very clean with only a few light marks. A great record. Excellent (EX)…Still very clean, but slightly more light marks. No scratches and no surface noise. VG+…Used, but not abused. Light surface scratches only. Should play and look very nice with minimal surface noise. VG…Still a nice record. Looks a bit used with light scratches but no gouges.  Still plays well, but with some surface noise. VG-…A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection. G…Plays very rough and has multiple scratches. Only very rare records will be auctioned in this condition.
