Description

Listing some blues & country 78s this week and for a few weeks to follow.
Walter Smith & Buster Carter (as Kid Williams & Bill Morgan) Romeo 5017 I Know I'll Meet My Mother After All / Mother Kiss Your Darling
Great early country with Posey Rorrer on fiddle, Buster Carter on banjo, and Lewis McDaniels on guitar. This same arrangement of musicians recorded also as the Carolina Buddies for Columbia in 1930 and 31. Great North Carolina string band!!
Grades V. Somewhat dull surface, surface noise is moderate and recording is not particularly loud, still pleasant listen. Small edge flake, see photos! Label damage both sides, see photos; looks like a spindle mishap to me. Structurally sound.
I know how to pack & ship 78s to get them to you safely! My default shipping method is media mail (records sandwiched, surrounded by peanuts or bubblewrap, large outer box.) If you want priority mail just let me know.
